If you twin a spell, do you pay xp Twice?

im with hypersmurf. you only cast the spell once, you pay XP once. just don't mention this to an incantatrix. blaine

    Did I dream this up...?

'the players guide to arcanis' (paradigm concepts) has that feat: "versatile" turns 2 X-class into class skills. blaine.

True Strike as a Swift Action

a bladesinger can do it at second level once per day. but apart from that, a swift true strike is very powerful. blaine.

    The Most Important Metamagic Feats

empower spell, persistent spell, heighten spell, any and all sudden feats, transdimensional spell. for more fun, energy substitution, non-lethal substitution (to knock out the others to kill the target) and finally, rapid spell for summoning things. blaine.

Can the gods strip a paladin of his class?

first of all: a cleric of a deity cannot be TN unless the deity is also TN. back to the topic: in greyhawk, the path of a paladin can be by choice or touched/chosen by the gods. if the latter happens, the deity will strip the paladins power if he/she does not abide by the deity's code of life...

    Rage & Marshal's Auras?

mechanically: raging is not on the list that stops auras. cinematically: they can hear your blood-thirsty scream and are inspired from a cinematic point of view, frenzied berserker is a good roleplaying path. blaine.

    Cleric Combat Feats

ok... combat feats: *power attack *cleave (optional only) *skill focus (concentration) because it is better than combat casting in all forms. general feats: *extra spell 5th (i think righteous might is 5th) *improved turning if your using divine feats or walking into radiant servant of pelor...

generally, yes. for a stormlord, the "master" who can fly/walk with their mount through hurricanes without penalty? for some unknown reason, yes. attack penalties aren't negated. what the!!???? blaine.

A quick question about critters with monk levels...

(in the case of vampire) to use the energy drain ability, you have to hit with a natural weapon, but you can only do it once per round. meaning, you have to declare which attack (if your a vampire monk flurrying) has the energy drain attached (reference: the half elf cutie in the MM). to use...

    Multiclass XP problem

paladins of helm, tyr or torm can multiclass into fighter freely. but as mentioned: when human or half-elf, ignore the highest level and if 2 classes are more than one level apart, take the appropriate XP penalty. blaine.

Death Attack Ability from Multiple PrCs

actually, death attack from assassin, black flame zealot and dark hunter use full class level to determine DC. as for the stacking ruling: it becomes an house ruling by the GM. the reason it doesn't mention stacking with assassin levels is because a lawful good paladin can prestige into dark...

    Half-Dragon

i concur with was. +3 level adjustment is quite a bit. and IMHO, only allow the base dragons for the template; if the PC wishes to use the draconomicon, roleplay it, make a "character family tree" to justify going into dragon disciple because some of those half dragons (like shadow) are potent...

Can spells and magic items help satisfy feat prerequisites?

it also says that you have to HAVE THE PRE-REQ in order to take it. not borrow it from some other source like a spell or magic item. even though gauntlets are permanently there, you still borrowed the bonus because it's not yours. blaine.
