    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Dragon Disciple in 3.5? Pleaaaase?

not only does it not get bonus spellcasting levels, it also no longer increases your size. As a slight plus, I believe the breath weapon damage die is the same now, regardless of dragon lineage.

    Arcane Archer: Imbue Arrow

The max range of a normal composite long bow is 1100 ft. The range of a normal fireball cast by a Wizard 18/ AA 2 is 1120 ft. For a 20th level caster it's a nice round 1200 ft... so to actually make imbue arrow worth it you need one of the following: - very poor casting ability. A Fighter...

The Shadow Dragon is in Monsters of Faerun. No idea what it's alignment is as I don't have the book with me at the moment

Dragon #308 previews new ranger and barbarian!

my guess is that the feats for TWF are: 2nd: TWF 6th: ITWF 11th: GTWF The prerequsite BAB for ITWF should now be +6. The prerequsite BAB for GTWF should now be +11. That's how it works in d20 modern at least. Looks like I have to head down to Games Plus this afternoon ;)

ELH Feat Query - Keen Strike

IMO the threat range should be 17-20. Keen Strike makes your unarmed strike change to Slashing damage and threaten on a 19-20. Improved Crit (Unarmed Strike) would then double that to 17-20. I think...

    Arcane Archer busted?

 I've played in a game where a player had this exact bow configuration...well, actually it had shocking burst too, but that's beside the point... I never thought to check if it was legel before I posted all that. How embarasing...

    Arcane Archer busted?

Brilliant Energy weapon ignore non living matter, such as armor or walls. Thus most, but not quite all, of the things a phase arrow can do a Bow of Brilliant Energy can also do. Similarly, there is little a seeker arrow can do that a Bow of Seeking can't replicate. So simply put, a +1...

    The Epic Archer

assassins get a 4th level spell called Sniper's Eye that extends sneak attack range to 60'. It also makes it possible to make death attacks at 30'. It has no listed effect on other forms of precision based damage, like weapon specialization. Also, a Ranger's favored enemy damage is limited to...

    Sultans of Smack

weapon master is a technically a melee only class. Even if it was not, you need Spring attack and whirlwind attack to enter it, which the above character does not have. Furthermore, Power Critical only works with me melee weapons, so unless you are stabing the guy with the arrow that feat won't...

    Arcane Archer busted?

the deepwood sniper does get magic weapon 1/day, But it's practically useless...The soonest you can get htis ability is 7th character level...by that time you probably already have a magic bow. To my knowledge, magic weapon does not have the ability to effect 50 arrows at a time, so you either...

    More Deepwood Sniper goodness...

there is a feat in the Kalamar Players Handbook that lets you automatically guess the location of a concealed opponent, but you still suffer the 50% miss chance with the feat. An Epic Deepwood Sniper with this feat could automatically guss the targets location and ignore the 50% miss chance...

    Sultans of Smack

About the Peerless Archer build: Manyshot does not let you make 4 attacks as a standard action. It lets you make one attck to fire 4 arrows. as such you could can do 2 manyshots with haste at +41/+41. Since you are only making 2 attacks, regardless of the fact you are firing 4 arrows, you...

Supreme Two-Weapon Fighting vs Perfect Two-Weapon Fighting

you might be right about weapons of speed or frenzied berzerker. about whirlwind attack though: from p15 of the D&D FAQ: In other words, if you are dual wielding and you perform a whirlwind attack you get all of your off hand attacks. With GTWF you get 3 off hand attacks, with STWF that means...

Supreme Two-Weapon Fighting vs Perfect Two-Weapon Fighting

weapon of speed. Frenzied Berzerker PrC. Ever heard of Whirlwind Attack? 1) the Iaijutsu Master PrC can already do this at character level 14 (Samurai 6/IM 8 for example) wielding a weapon that is held in two hands (ie Strx1.5 for both attacks), that weapon being the katana.... 2) I see no...
