    Crop Devil

Nice concept for a monster - I like it :) So what are those crop circles for? Cheers Bob

    Sneak attack when swallowed whole?

I like it too. No imagine a purple worm that has learned to vomit up its stomach contents..... :D Cheers Bob

Attacker on higher ground. How high?

Just to stir the pot a little.... Wouldn't a human fighting - say - a gnome be counted as higher? Cheers Bob

    Sneak attack when swallowed whole?

Just a thought. Is their any air inside a puple worms stomach? I'd guess not only would you be getting the acid damage but also you'd have to apply the drowning rules Cheers Bob

    [BoVD] Death by Thorns

If you have a giant spell caster with 10' reach its possible for targets to be 20' away from each other. :) OTOH it looks like a typo to me Cheers Bob

    Morpheum

Dragons are scary in the same way as a School bully is scary - hes just bigger and tougher than you. I want monsters that are scary in the way that real life Spiders and Rats are to some people - irrational revultion. The best monsters are the ones that are scary for BOTH reasons Cheers Bob

One of these guys'll feed your sweet tooth.

Chocolate Magic Items what a fantastic idea! :p At the very least chocolates would taste better than potions.

    Morpheum

I feel monsters ought to be scary and/or stomach churning. Orcs are just blokes in green suits for all the fear theey instill in PC's. Dragons are scary but only in terms of stats - there is no visceral fear involved. I want monsters that give the Players (or at least the PC's) nightmares :D...

    Homebrew alternate history

US Destroyers were running convoy escort BEFORE December 1941 and engaging German U-boats, so before the official declaration of war there was an unofficial one in the Atlantic Cheers Bob

Ladies & Gents Another undead for your edification & delight :) This one is designed to challenge a bunch of 1st Level PC's, so comments are welcome on the monster's suitability. No quite as complex as my other postings.... Cheers Bob
