How do you house-train a puppy in winter?

Dude, I trained dogs for the military. I still do it for extra cash today, and everything has been working fine. My success record isn't eliminated simply because some folks on the internet insist it isn't working. MY dad and grandfather both trained dogs for the military like I did and worked...

How do you house-train a puppy in winter?

Doesn't work? I've been doing it for years with success. :/

    No Second Edition Love?

That's actully the point, though. Look at RPG's. See you want to have some boundaries of realism, but I alreayd stated that about three posts back. The players and DM need to have an accpted and agreed upon understanding of how physics and nature work in the fantasy milieu. And using the real...

How do you house-train a puppy in winter?

Don't buy a dog door. Show the dog (not in a painful manner) when they have made a mistake, and stick them outdoors. Praise them whenever they eliminate outdoors, and chide them (again, not painfully) when they do so indoors. Take them for frequent walks and put them outside every day for a few...

does CN get a bad rap?

It's an excellent idea for someone who can't do anything more than put words in other people's mouths.

    No Second Edition Love?

Being a combat vet, I disagree. But that's not the point of my post. And all you really did was strengthen my argument. D&D and every other roleplaying game is a terrible simulation of reality. No amount of rolling dice and making marks on a piece notebook paper is ever going to come close to...

does CN get a bad rap?

And who did I declare insane, again? All I said was, "A person who was confused about chaos, law, good, and evil would not be allowed in my home." If that bothers you, don't read what I type. I'm not going to apologize for a harmless opinion. And anyway, are you insinuating that debating D&D...

    Well said, Mallus.

My D&D Game would suffer without Anime!!!!

So while we're naming bad anime, I'll just chuck "Those Who Hunt Elves" in the fire-pit as well.

does CN get a bad rap?

Somethign tells me you and I have a good and coparable understanding of what good, evil, laws, and chaos are. The concepts are pretty specific. I would refuse to allow someone who had real confusion about these concepts in my home or near my family, much less at my gaming table.

    No Second Edition Love?

Yes, and I'm claiming that the entire argument is ridiculous, right from the get-go. 'Realistic roleplaying games' are not existant. From my viewpoint, that's the fundamental flaw in what's being discussed.

    No Second Edition Love?

Go assault the toughest guy you can find, face to face, and tell me if initiative mattered. :D Dude, you cannot simulate reality with dice and pencils and paper. You can try but you'll always fail. Sure, it's a tool for guided imaginings with pals, and you and your pals, as all groups do, have...

does CN get a bad rap?

Why is that one isn't allowed to take liberties with rules like combat, yet alignments, while clearly defined in every edition of D&D, (as well as being composed of dual-syllable words representing very easy to understand concepts to anyone with any sense of morality), is perfectly open to...

    No Second Edition Love?

Role playing games are not meant to simulate reality. Every system is an absolute failure at that.

My D&D Game would suffer without Anime!!!!

That's a rather egotistical thing to think. Did it occur to you that some people just don't like what you like, and have no problem voicing it when asked in a public forum? I named six anime series I liked.
