[UPDATED AGAIN] Gary Gygax's Widow & TSR Settle Trademark Dispute

Someone has been giving Gail the terrible advice to hold on to the Gygax IP like a vice (really, trademarking a term like "Gygaxian", that's been in common use for decades?), hoping that someone will offer her a boatload of cash to turn it into some computer game. Ain't ever gonna happen, and...

    D&D 5E Adventures

Based on sales, compared to MtG, D&D is a bit player. You can't really blame them from the standpoint of a corporation who's in business to make money. It's just the mathematics.

D&D 5E What happened to Legend and Lore?

Yup, that's a corporation, right there. So busy with meetings sometimes that it's hard to get any actual work done. Happens to me all the time in my "real world" job. :)

    D&D 5E Adventures

Bear in mind that Dungeons and Dragons never gets mentioned in the Hasbro annual or quarterly reports. That, right there, is indicative of the fact that it's seen as a minor player, and when Corporate sees something that way, so does the subsidiary. And unless this new D&D movie pulls in $100...

D&D 5E Why are we still stuck with divine casters knowing all spells?

I wouldn't mind seeing a 2E-ish use of spell spheres, either. You could certainly have spheres based on deity portfolio as well as a more universal alignment-based sphere at the same time. They would hardly be mutually exclusive.

Dungeons of Dread Illios online at wizards!

I only looked at one of the batches. Do some have more detailed information than "Level 2 encounter 14"?

The Outer Planes in first edition

There's also detailed information on astral and ethereal encounters in the 1E DMG. A lot of that got mined directly for MotP.
