Not really. I don't think reddit really goes out of its way to tell people they have been banned. I only looked into it because I found it odd that none of my posts were getting any interaction at all.
Not to revive a dead thread, but I made an interesting discovery recently. My reddit account has been shadow banned for the past month or more: not long after this whole debacle. It could be unrelated, but it seems the reddit post or original article don't show up on top anymore either.
I don't know if I would care that much? I know that this is probably the biggest "Top 10 Most Anticipated" list type thing, but I doubt it has that much of an impact on the marketing or sales of any particular product.
