Actually, I have Destiny of Kings and we will play it next in our D&D Forgotten Realms campaign. I second your opinion regarding "Destiny of Kings". It´s a superb adventure! A great intrigue, colorful NPCs - not the least Mendal Secord the Assassin! and the twists and turns challenges PCs.

I really don´t understand your list. It seems to be built quite heavily on nostalgia. For how can "Tomb of Horrors" be better than "Return to the Tomb of Horrors"? I mean, really!? This also goes for the other "Return to..." adventures. Do you really mean that the newer versions are...
