My setting is a cross between Arthurian legend and the Grimm's fairytales, so mostly realistic medieval with a little bit of fantasy lurking around the edges. I mean more like wandering encounter level of wrong. Mostly, I just want some little hiccups for the PCs to hit if they fail skill checks...
I'm trying to come up with various degrees of how wrong things could go while exploring a medieval city. Two ideas I have so far are being pick-pocketed or winding up in a dead end alley with a couple of thugs that want to rob you and leave you for dead. Any ideas? All are appreciated. Thanks!
