Well, what can I say? I'm a bit ancient, having been born in '65 (you do the math) but just you try to steal my gold you young whippersnapper- you'll see i'm still handy with a broadsword. Hah!

Only started role-playing in the Autumn of 2010. It was a dark and stormy night, well dark anyway (nights tend to be dark), ok it was broad daylight, a sunny Thursday afternoon when a legendary role-player, who shall be known only as 'Pete', inducted me into the Way of the Polyhedron with a game of Dogs in the Vineyard. Followed that up with a game of Fiasco, then Dead of Night, and after that I was totally hooked. Since then I have branched out into more traditional player party adventures such as HEX and Victoriana so I'm fairly eclectic.

I've spent the last year planning, writing and now playtesting a game featuring delinquent aliens with superpowers causing mayhem in a New England frat house. It's great fun, but the road is rocky as you might expect.

I was an EFL teacher for many years, lived in Japan, Greece and Portugal then taught inLondon. Left teaching in 2009 to set up a business to market a word game I'd invented. Check it out!

I'm currently sgl (as of March 2012), no kids, no cats, jus' li'l ole me.

I go to a vast number of cons, both RPG and boardgame cons- yes, I'm also a keen boardgamer, and a member of two local clubs, London on Board (for BGs) and Phoenix Games club, in Plaistow, E London (for RPGs).
