I am generally pro-Ai and have no issue with it in most context but I think this is appropriate. This is an award for best creativity and Ai will cheapen it and reduce quality.
I am starting the new Stormlight Archive book and honestly having a little bit of a tough time getting back into it. RPG book-wise I'm reading some new supplements for Ironsworn Starforged to add to my toolkit in the game. Starforged is pretty awesome.
I really enjoy using it to generate visuals for my solo rpg sessions. I input my descriptions and it (after some edits) produces something much more lasting than my imagined scenes. I've also used it to help elaborate on my recap writing. It really has come a long way in the last couple years.
I think that players need something to bounce off of or friction in their role playing otherwise they will lose interest. If the game is just let's make up whatever silly story we want with no restrictions or guidelines, and the players figure that out, I think they will lose interest. Kind of...
