I'm considering using this for a magic/fantasy campaign, becaues I have players who hate M&M and True20 (and they do have reasons, mainly boiling down to it just doesn't "Feel" right to them, and since we game to have fun...), but I've never really liked the way D20 modern was put together...

Oh good. One of my biggest beefs with D20modern was the sudden proliferation of advanced classes and prestige classes. I'll have to give the mentioned product a look.

So, knowing that these two products are on the way, do we yet have an ETA? Also, are there any spoilers on how the system will work for them? Will there be more classes, or will the magic system especially try to stay in line with the class system established in modern20?
