Looks like everything has been resolved for now. The player in question is no longer with the group. Still, I pitched the E6 rules and everyone seems interested. I'm still very much interested in trying them out so I'll let you know how it goes.

By only one way I meant 75% role playing 25% mechanics. Third edition seems to be the other way around.
