The lack of inflection in text may means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize it" in their head. As a result the intent of a post can be skewed subtilty or even inverted entirely. My fear of this makes me write overly long posts with redundancy ideas stated in different ways in the hope that I can somehow encourage the inflection that I intend. … It doesn't work but I keep doing it. Sorry for long posts. … I believe this meats the definition of insanity.
