Always have lots of handouts/personal messages. Describe a lot of things only single characters see. That gets the paranoia going. I have used this a number of times. Include things they 'think' they see. I have a word doc of these for the first Pathfinder adventure path when they enter a...
Arcana Unearthed was quite possibly my favourite 3E book. I still use classes, races, spell templates etc from this all the time.
The best part of this is we will get more art for some of those rare races/heritages like mojh and faen. I have already converted all the races from the 3E book to 5E...
It does not say where everyone is from, so I am asking here whether any of the team is from Australia? Simply want to know as I would like to follow more Aussie's progress on Twitter, etc.
OK, 'only' $99 Aus to get the book to me in Australia. :( I can't spend $100 on one book. Sorry. Sounds great though.
I mean, i would spend this IF I ran Eberron games and all... but not for a book I just want to mine for ideas and the crunch. ;)
Would love a print copy of this, but living in Australia, it would triple the price... well it did for the last books I wanted to order on DMsGuild. I wish they would employ printers around the world :/
I like these, but will not be allowing anyone to load and fire ranged weapons in melee combat with NO risk. This just sets up ridiculous situations where ranged characters sit right next to melee combatants.
Imagine a gunfight with both side by side the whole time. Stoopid.
Other than that, I...
This looks awesome! I love the tree-guy. I just wrote up tree-folk as a race, heritage/ancestry for 5E :P This picture would be a great example of a character I was aiming for.
I so want to back this book... but just like the Expanded MM on DMsGuild, the book is going to end up well over $100 to get to me in Australia.
I just can't justify that to family on any book. I am sure it is worth it, but I would have to put a fiend into my game every week I played to justify...
There is a new mechanic for psionic characters. That dice mechanic IS what distinguishes them. You don't need a suclass for all. That is what the feat is for. To allow anyone to be psionic ;)
I am already all over the #YearZeroEngine, but I love the idea of the added Stress mechanic here. :)
#Coriolis has become my favoured way to run sci-fi and Star Wars games. I have converted Star Wars to the Coriolis rules.
Fria Ligan are smashing it out of the park!
Funny. We have never had a problem with multi-classing. But we have rarely hit high level, and don't play 'league' or organised play (whatever that is called).
I have found 5E PCs tend to be fairly robust so multi-class don't seem to have cost them at all. Also helps, my players are not...
