I have been gaming since i was about 9 which is about 19 years now. I started with AD&D and then moved on from there. Of all the systems I have used (dming and playing) i have stuck with d&d simply because I idolized gary gygax and the principles he laid down. That the fun of the game is more important than the rules, that creativity is the most dangerous weapon any pc can wield against a dm, and that the ability to think on your feet is much better than the ability to look something up in a book.
