Favorite Peices of Artwork (so far)

I, too, am seriously enjoying the art. I liked a good deal of 3e art, but this stuff blows it away. My favorite so far (besides all the WAR stuff, which I can't get enough of) is page 119 of the DMG. An elf performing a ritual, probably? Anyway, I adore almost every single piece, large and small.

Lessons from Game Day [Spoiler Free]

Thanks for the tips, yo. Gonna start running a game (squee!) on the 13th. Aside: Is there a better day to start a DnD game than Friday the 13th? I think not! As silly as this may sound, I'm very glad to hear that there's good stuff about running encounters in the DMG. I was able to get a PH...

D&D eXPerience: Core Mechanics (now compiled in 1st post!)

The 8 classes in the PHB...

I've been thinking myself about what the 4 classes might be in a future release that detailed Nature as a power source. To me looks like Druid is a shoe-in for leader and Barbarian for striker... but who for controller and defender? Hmmm... Druid could easily be adapted to fill the controller...

Who is more bothered by the whole per-encoutner thing?

I voted "Mostly casters - Like P.E." but really I think there should be another set of options; "Even mix of casters/noncasters - like/dislike P.E." I really love magic-wielding classes in all sorts of fantasy games, but not to the exclusion of other archetypes.

Who Do You Want Illustrating 4th Ed.?

WAR. The man is so freakin' great, I suspect the "A" stands for "awesome".
