I prefer to play dwarfs since for them there are no grey shades - they divide good and bad by the sharp edge of their axes. Once in a while i play female chars too to get an oppsite view about RP. And remember: If there is drama then there is no RP!
I try to avoid sticking too close to game rules since they usually dont cover the whole spectrum of the daily life as adventurer.I learned that not breaking a rule spoils RP, its metagaming and godmodding wich causes it (besides random drama queens of course).
