Thanks Thanks for the thoughts. I guess giving the fighting abilities it makes sense, if you have enough points after Concentration, Know (Arcana), and Spellcraft.

Has anyone figured out why the PHB II recommends sense motive for the duskblade. I can't say that I've kept up with all of the books, so perhaps there is a use for sense motive that I'm not aware of that's out there somewhere. Any pointers would be much appreciated!
