I heard about this yesterday from some random YouTube video I found but could find nothing on any news site or forum at the time so I didn't believe it. But, here it is. Really sucks for those laid off. I was looking forward to Sigil's potential but I was also looking forward to 4th edition's...
Wow, that's such weird timing! I just found my old original Puffin Publishing copy of House of Hell this afternoon! It's still to this day one of my favorite horror books ever.
So I just noticed that the gold 50th anniversary logo on the back of my PHB was scratched up, and while testing it the gold lettering came off like it was a scratch lottery ticket. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm curious if it was just my copy or a common occurrence. Not a big deal, but...
Maybe they're now like the dragons in Reign of Fire that require external oxygen to activate their breath weapon? So the splash back bleaches their face but doesn't affect them internally.
Or maybe he's like a dog and is just old :p
I LOVE that redesign! It's so malevolent and xenomorph-like! Which makes sense with the acid breath and all. The only big dragon mini I have is the Colossal Red Dragon from the 3rd edition era, but may have to buy this one.
Wow, something cool and D&D related that's happening here in Canada and it's not out west?! My my! Seriously though, I'm very curious about what this will be and I'll probably be going regardless.
Why are Beadle and Grimm's dice so expensive? Am I missing something? Not only these dice sets, but I just found their "Epic Class Dice Sets" and they're... $85 CAD for 16 dice. Like... what? That's more than I paid for Q-Workshop dice I had to import from Poland with shipping and duties! Who...
John oversaw D3: Reaper of Souls which was a phenomenal expansion so I'm feeling positive about how this pans out. I personally think WotC should divide themselves into two halves: Digital and Tabletop. That way both sides can focus on their respective strengths and we end up with better...
I like all of these covers. I do enjoy having various D&D characters on the covers, but I think the bright colours and scenes themselves are meant to inspire adventure in the mind. I remember back in the day seeing the 2e covers (specifically the black bordered ones) and I immediately could...
I'm willing to bet that your copy is from the original print run. All of the original print unboxings I've seen have paper bands holding the cards, but the new print (and my personal copy) are shrink wrapped with a paper note to be careful cutting them open. I'm sure WotC would love to know how...
I got my copy delivered today and the whole package is great. The card quality is awesome, the books are amazing and even the packaging is good. I'm very impressed and if this is a preview of what's to come with books in 2024, I can't wait!
