I dunno.. Agonizing Blast Reads - "When you cast Eldritch Blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on a hit." You have to roll an attack die on each ray. If each ray hits, you would then add the Charisma modifier for each one. At least that's how it reads to me.

I do not beleive this has been confirmed anywhere. I'm also not sure if its actually correct. There was a tweet saying Magic Missile (with the Evocation thing) would only get the Int mod once per target. The difference is Magic Missile doesnt even roll to attack, its an auto hit with multiple...

Well, that could work on several different beasts...but specifically the badger it wouldnt work AS well..as its Dex is only 10.

Im not sure I followed that. If you are talking about Mage Armor...its still 3 AC short of Barkskin and you still have to lose a level 1 spell slot to cast it?

It is indeed, and 1 minute.

Barkskin still works better than Mage Armor either way. Granted, its a level 2 slot.

Touch a willing creature, the targets gets bark skin (Im not copying exactly here) and cant have AC less than 16 until the end of the spell no matter what kind of armor it has. So, it sounds to me like it sets base AC to 16.

Soo....give Barkskin to the Badger and its at AC 16 + Prof bonus. That's not bad and its got the best damage outright.

D&D 5E 5th Edition -- Help Me Break the Game!

I can see it going both ways at this point. If you read the Monk Elemental powers, it specifically says class levels. It also HAS to be the monk at that point because of the ki requirement for each one. No such thing for the Invocations...so either it was left open on purpose...or its just...

What about the Warlock invocations? Certain ones require level pre-reqs. Are those total character level or Warlock level, as it only says you get invocations at certain warlock levels but nothing about the pre-reqs.

So now its not clear if cantrips are overall character level along with the invocations? This got a bit more confusing.

D&D 5E 5e niggles:- Multiclassing Spellcasters; Dragonborn Sorcerers; Tavern Brawler; Warlocks

I believe you get the bonus for each ray. When the whole Empowered Evocation and Magic Missile came up it was said that magic missile only gets the INT mod once per target. Granted, this was a spell that had no attack roll but you could divide the missiles. The difference between this and...

D&D 5E 5th Edition -- Help Me Break the Game!

I have been wondering on this myself. I've had several arguments about it recently and would like some more feedback from everyone else. Are the invocations class level restricted..or overall level restricted?
