D&D Risk Eh?

Why worry about e3.5 when 4.0 is on its way. To fast for me. So me and my posse and sticking with 3.0 cause it makes sence if you look at closely. And i dont wanna buy another 80$ worth of books just to play. No Way. I dont have that much money...

Preporation for spells is pontless. it gets rid of the quick thinking for the game. You need to be able to just look at your character sheet and cast "Magic missle"

I was thinking about this spell and i was thinking it could be a level 4 or 5 spell and the first 10 feet are penalty free but for evry 10 feet after that be -1 cause i was thinking and i came to the conclusion that if have a sword with a damage of d20 + 5 at long rage thats kinda broken...
