Started playing 5e a little over a year ago as a DM for a family game. Liked it so much that I began playing an delving deeper into the hobby. Since then, I've picked up DCC and have started to play. Also absorbing as much info as possible (podcasts, blogs, etc).

-I like to have fun above all else
-I cuss and drink beer, but neither excessively
-I feel that a good session 0 really helps everyone adapt their expectations
-I'd love to do an old school dungeon crawl (10' pole, marbles, flour, etc)
-I try to achieve relatively deep system understanding
-I try to avoid metagaming
-I prefer Rulings over Rules
-I am intrigued by game design, especially mechanics
-I prefer in-person to online or post
-I have a family and prefer weeknight gaming to weekends
