As my forum username and title are Monty Python references, I'm guessing this will wind up being a manditory purchase for me (though I'll likely never actually play it).
The other factor that is worth considering is sales/release. I admittedly haven't looked back the information on the actual number of releases (though when has a lack of knowledge prevented someone from opining on the internet), but if, for example, Forgotten Realms had three core releases in...
Waxing nostalgic about the cartoon and "Uni" reminded me of something that happened with my daughter when she was little (she is now 17 and a DM herself). She had a decent-sized rainbow unicorn that she very creatively decided to name "Uni". A few months later, we found a miniature version of...
The original Midnight setting was fantastic and I'm thrilled to see it get a new release. Here's hoping this does well enough that they can release a adventure book for those of us who aren't creative enough to author their own campaigns.
In the first paragraph, the links embedded for the "Kickstarters’ controversial move to blockchain technology" text currently go to the Gallant Knight Games kickstarter page of created projects and not a page about the this topic (which I know nothing about and was interested in reading an...
Since multiple people have mentioned they had to look it up but didn't say what it actually is, it is probably worth saying that it stands for "Asia Pacific"
BTW, for anyone who goes to their website and tries to sign up for notifications (and the players' guide when available), the email confirmation link you receive may be broken and needs to have a period inserted between "manage" and "com". I've notified the site.
Since it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure this out myself, I thought that I would mention that the "Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Primer" mentioned in the review is included in the AL Player's and DM's pack and is not a separate product that you will find by searching.
Is this what you were referring to?

Good points, everyone. I guess the mystical '3rd thing' I was looking for is really the ability to bypass the normal armor proficiency tiers.
I proposed the +1 to Str or Dex and Shield proficiency feat to the player and she agreed.
Thanks for the help.
One of my PCs is playing a sorcerer and would like to spend a feat to gain proficiency in shields. I believe that the only RAW ways for her to gain shield proficiency are through multi-classing or taking the Moderately Armored feat, which requires proficiency in light armor (which sorcerers do...

When you put it like that :)
I understand now what the sheet is trying to do. I am pretty sure that I ran into some cases where this duplicated background equipment was being counted in weight but the item count in the inventory list was not visibly incremented. However, my simple case above...
Thank you for creating the character sheet, it is fantastic.
I think I have discovered an error in the weight carried calculation in version v12-998 (I believe it was there before as well), where sometimes it is double counting equipment. I think I have it pinned down to the "All three of the...
