Monetary value in games is really subjective, of course... but these prices seem high to me if I'm imagining commoners in a tavern in D&D 5E. I'll probably change SP to CP because in my games the gold piece is pretty valuable. Though this is a great way to part extra coinage from adventurers!
I've noticed how some of the 5E campaign books have sort of a "prelude" where characters work up to 3rd or 5th level before the real story starts. You can come in at that higher level and just hit the ground running of course but the prelude gives you the opportunity to build and develop a...
The GUI is so unnecessarily ugly and unintuitive. Maybe not enough people have complained and they are satisfied. Maybe I'm a design snob who embraces the last few decades of interface design and expects excellence, especially for $30. How in this day and age is this level of design acceptable...
Hmmm... I might pay $30 for a complete package of licensed content but not for just the SRD. If I am going to have to input much of the content then I'll just use existing digital tools that are cheaper and have existing user-inputted content. Maybe it will get better/cheaper over time.

This is really clean and simple. Easy to use. WotC wouldn't or couldn't ever make something like this. I hope it stays up. Nice work.
Would be nice to have a picture box to upload an image of character.
Me too. Playing since '81. Never seen AL nor done it. There is a FLGS a couple blocks from me where I buy merch but I've never bothered to go on D&D night. We do our own thing. Not even really sure what AL is. Some kind of special club?
I was surprised by this opinion. I found this particular artist's work to be incredibly subpar for the 5E series. It feels to me like an amateur mural from a recreation center. Those kids! Many of the big paintings in this book are flat and lifeless (not sure if the bad ones are all by the same...

Regarding terrain:
I bought some of the basic sets and specialty rooms from Dwarven Forge and Dungeonstone then made my own rubber molds. Initial costs aside, plaster is cheap and I made enough pieces to actually build a dungeon (their sets are small).
As a tattoo artist of over 24 years I have to say that the tattoo shown was poorly applied and will require extensive rework. It also looks like poor sizing and placement. I will also almost always recommend a black outline for legibility, contrast, and longevity. Please do your research and...
TL;DR Great promise but the awkward interface and lack of output/sharing features (including no compatibility with it's own sister DM app) made me regret spending money on this. We are all looking for that killer character app for D&D and IMHO this is not it.
My impressions after using this for...
