Eos is not really sure what Edmund is up to. So he moves to put his back against the wall, leaving room for Edmund to past if he wishes to, and waits to see what happens.

The Dark Squad in the Secrets of Saltmarsh #159: Goblins! Goblins! Sponsored by Enya & in COLOUR.

But, IIRC, it seems like the encounters that rattled the party were the odd ones, like the frogs in a pond, or the ghosts in the walls. Maybe they don't mind facing down hordes of monsters, just so long as they can get their own licks in. thotd

Eos wasn't really expecting Tobias to follow right behind with the lantern, lighting Eos up like a mummer on a stage. This is not going to work. Eos pauses at the entrance to the room, cavern, space that open up in front of him. He shudders at the sound of the insects scurrying through the bat...

Eos wordlessly considers the pile of bodies. Well that was quick. Ahead? I suppose that means the passage these things came from. Whichever passage we choose, we run the risk that something will get behind us. With a shrug, Eos steps past the bodies and proceeds cautiously forwards down the...

Eos follows Byron’s lead. Unlike Byron, Eos’ goal is get behind the creatures and prevent any escaping back into the mine. If there is no gap to move through, he will have to make one using hls axe, size and strength. This might lead to tears, but has to be done.

Eos hand off the map and silver once he has checked them out. “They will send another when the first fails to return. So do we wait here, or go in before they get concerned?” Eos looks at Byron expectantly. Your call boss.

(OOC) DND 3.5 The Flames of War

Apologies, still under the pump at work. For Eos, idea was learn what he can about the monster [done], then reset the ambush. Based on the expectation that the monsters would send another when first fails to return. @OneCrappy DM ACK, I hated ghosting PC as a DM. But happy for you to do so...

(OOC) DND 3.5 The Flames of War

Definitely should have taken a rank in KN Nature and Geography given Eos's background. It feels a bit discordant, 30 years travelling the wilderness, but doesn't know anymore than the "townies" he is hanging out with :-) Regarding the tunnel, the indentation on the right side (looking in), is...

Eos crouches by the the creature to better inspect it and its equipment for any indication of its origins [1]. Eos glances around the entrance, the beginnings of an idea coming. Someone else will be along soon, to see what happened to this one when it does not return. "Prop it up against the...

(OOC) DND 3.5 The Flames of War

IC post up. I think most of the games I have played in, characters act in initiative order. The problem with this approach in PbP is that can really slow down combat; everyone is waiting for the person ahead of them in the initiative order to post. I am also happy to go with the approach...
