D'oh! They snuck it in with the fluff at the beginning of the chapter. I'm blind. Although in my defense I was expecting some kind of table for different values for each class like every other version of D&D... ever.
I've been looking for this. The only place I've seen something was in the DMG where it states rules for starting characters at levels other than 1st. Basically giving them starting gold the same value of a magic item their level -1.
Mutants and Masterminds, for anything but low levels (and that might change when I get my 2nd Ed.) Easily the most elegant/easy and balanced game I've ever seen or heard about.
I haven't been buying minis lately but when I do buy them it is just according to what I'm looking for. If I see a metal mini I need I buy it. If I could use some random minis then I buy them.
