I've been curious about that from the start. A Goodman Games City State of the Immortal Queen or some such would have had an instant and appreciative audience, and would have enabled GG to proceed without having to deal with Bledsaw.
That's good to hear. And FWIW, I did not think your comment about camps was meant to be inflammatory, but rather as the natural human reaction to grouping together over differing issues, which is something we all do.
I did not turn the conversation towards a division of camps. You did. I merely pointed out for clarity which one I belonged in. You're welcome to join that one as well, but that's up to you.
If we are being divided into camps, I would like to note that the camp I'm personally in does not work with, endorse or elevate the opinions of bigots, white supremacists, holocaust deniers or Nazis.
Your own camp may feel differently about such dealings, but my own position is intractable.
That's the thing. He simply has to say, "Wow, I really f'd this one up and I sincerely apologize," cancel the project and politely deal with any customer concerns. It's really that easy. Instead, Goodman's digging in and making claims that run counter to his actions. It's either a revealing look...
Even BB2 is wily enough to not insult the great Jennell Jaquays and douse himself in gasoline while holding the torch. He no doubt considers this his great concession to the "Woke mob."
Incredibly tense and definitely horrifying.
But we were playing Kult (GMless) and by the standards of that game it was pretty tame. Just got trapped in a series of tunnels beneath a graveyard, my wife's character was grabbed by a 7' tall slasher movie nightmare we ended up calling the Hook Man...
Not if the AI in question is using artist reference and work outside of the company's ownership, however. But that's going to be a massive can of worms.
I believe that, at the moment at least, that's limited to artists who input some form of self-created art as an initial image that the AI then works from. It doesn't cover "AI art" entirely stolen from human artists purely derived from text inputs.
To be fair, there was also a fairly famous movie composer named Brian May. He was responsible for several Australian films, including Mad Max and Mad Max 2/The Road Warrior.
This part really stood out to me:
Classic abuser language. That, along with the constant gaslighting throughout the statement, is showing everyone exactly who WotC are, and what they want. It's not a pretty picture.
