    Am I overdoing it?

Two words: twin strike. I do plan on picking up at least novice power eventually, with either a fighter or ranger dual weapon power. I'll be getting versitile master at 11th just to have twin strike at-will and I really don't plan on blowing two feats for just one power, so novice and acolyte...

    Am I overdoing it?

I'm having a blast, and in the end that's what matters the most. Still, the group is pretty striker heavy (halfling rogue, shifter warlock, tiefling ranger, goliath barbarian and a dwarf cleric). I initially needed the skills (along with Hunter's Tune) to keep the stealthy nature of the party...

    Am I overdoing it?

So, I've been playing a bard and I really like the flexibility, perhaps too much. We just hit 8th level, and my feat selection so far is Combat Virtuoso, Sneak of Shadows, Warrior of the Wild, Student of the Sword and Whip Training. My plan is to head for Shock Trooper. I mostly picked up so...

    Warlord for Dummies

First off--play what you like! A tactical warlord can be very good, but an inspiring (or cha heavy resourceful) warlord is a good option as well, especially as a primary healer for a group. The first game I ran in 4e included an inspiring warlord and he was quite good at passing around the...

Sorry for the radio silence, guys. My computer took a leave of its functionality in spectacular fashion. I don't know when I'll be able to get it fixed (or more likely replaced). Again, really sorry that this happened just after the game got rolling.

Gnome Warlord (re: Modern Major Gen-eral)

If I might ask, are you taking gnome just for the stats, or for story reasons? While damage will never be the forte of a warlord, I couldn't believe how much reach helped the inspiring warlord in my first 4e game.

    From the Ruins

Honag rushes ahead to engage the burning creatures. As he draws near to one of the smaller ones, he raises his hammer and strikes--seemingly beyond his reach--at the clawed beast in front of him. He connects and drags the creature closer to him. He focuses for a bare moment on the small...

That's a good idea, Phaezen. I'll try to do that on the next one. For some reason the editor I'm using keeps messing with the colors when I try to add more text. I really need to get a better program.

    From the Ruins

You slip into the shadows of the bush next to you, attempting to conceal yourself from the new threats that emerge from the rent. None of them seem to notice you. Yeah, I'll be doing the rolling. In this case I think you'll prefer the results. Grayven: Stealth 20=4+16 (rolled)

    From the Ruins

Each of you enters a rocky area in the brush, and see a small rent in the ground. The visions that drew each of you to this place begins to shimmer and fades away, leaving a faint trail of light in your vision. You see around the brush and small hills an odd assortment of beings--dwarves, a...

Shouldn't be too much of a problem. If everyone else posts during a weekend, I'll just give you a minimal action or an at-will during combat encounters to keep the game flowing.
