Thanks. I was thinking through whether there were any other comparable abilities to compare with - but alas, I couldn't think of any. I wonder if this would be DMs discretion when the MM is not explicit about something like this.

I have a question about the ghost ability possession. In MM it says that while possessing, it cannot be targeted, unless by something like turn undead. Does that mean it is immune to all effects and damage until it is forced out? Or can it still take damage from things like area effect spells...
