I fell into gaming with the '83 OD&D Mentzer redbox with some friends from school and never regretted it. Since then I've played, and continue to play, a fairly large selection of classic RPGs like Traveller, Bushido, Morrow Project, Twilight 2000, Fringeworthy, Runequest and of course every gamer's friend D&D. For modern games I've upgraded to Mongoose editions of Traveller and Runequest II, Shadowrun 4e, GURPS 4e, D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder, and I'm really liking the looks of Eclipse Phase but I haven't convinced any of my groups to try it out yet.
