im not really sure what to head for. I already have a scabard of keen edge.
how exactly does gaining exp from a trap werk? Does only hte thief get the exp? and does he get it even if he fails and is nailed iwth the trap? What about the party memeber that heals him afterwards? or the memeber that watch him get nailed? or perhaps even the characters that r smart enough...
So from what im reading it lowers the lvl on each feat aplied to the spell or does it lower the lvl after all feats r applied?
and if it does the prior, does that mean taht i can have every spell i prepare use all the feats that only have a +1 lvl with no penalties?
perhaps simply extending the archmage pres class to a 10 lvl class? and add spell power +4 for an 11th lvl slot and spell power +5 for an 13th lvl spot?

i recently noticed that the archmage can give up to a total of +6 spell power and if u combine this with the Red wizard of thay's +5 spell power bonus u could end up with some nasty nasty spells. My problem is that Thayans arnt looked at in a positive light almost anywhere except in Thay...
