Yessir In my campaigns, you get one attempt to abuse the rules with liberal interpretations of the RAW. After the first warning, if you insist on trying to be a shifty, rules-lawyering d-bag, I'll show you the door. You can go mourn over the corpse of 3.5 with the powergaming fanboys.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere so: Do they cancel each other? If I used Sure Strike with the Power Attack feat would I essentially make a STR vs. AC attack and get the +2 or 3 to damage?

Or how about putting out The Guide to Crafting? People who absolutely must have hard and solid rules for crafting can by it, those who don't need it can abstain, and WOTC can make more money in the process. Full of win for everyone.

Some are even losing their minds. It's sparked more nerdrage than any edition of D&D to come out since, well, since 3.5. Nerds do hate it so when someone touches their stuff.

I think it's sometimes more in the nature of the creature than it's intelligence. Kobolds, existing for generations as one of the smaller monster races, competing for space with stronger and more agressive races, will by nature have developed some pretty scary tactics to survive. Look at it...

I think "gross oversight" may be taking it to a bit of an extreme. There is no possible way to cover every aspect that a gaming group could come up with. Some groups will rarely if ever use crafting, cooking, animal training...I could go on and on. All groups will have combat at one time or...
