Recently finished schooling to be a physical therapist, and moved half way across the country to be here. I've been making a few friends, but they are all through the PT world meaning most have no interest in the nerdy part of my life! I'm very much missing the epic comedy and fun of a good pen and paper group! My gaming style is one that appreciates creativity in encounters more than stats and dice rolls. I also love to design characters, and for nearly all of my characters I always put in some kind of flaw to spice things up. I appreciate groups that focus far more on the fun than rule mongering. The rules exist for a reason, but occasional bending for the sake of entertainment is nice too. I also tend to follow the path of Wil Wheaton...I hate miniatures! Measuring and moving things around takes away from the imagery in my head! I'm not opposed to using them sometimes for reference, but I much prefer to not rely on them to make the game function. Favorite games and games I would love to try: D&D 3.5 and 4.0, Pathfinder, Wild Talents, Mutants and Masterminds, and Shadowrun.
