I thought the exact same thing to be honest. I remember how long the character maker took for 4e, and then all these other promises that never came to fruition (to be clear, 4e was a lot of fun, but the digital side was not great)

It would be slightly trickier but not impossible. Anything with magic would be out, but as well as that a lot of the Broken Weave classes have a lot of social and exploration benefits at different levels. So your typical DnD classes may be more combat focused

No, the project isn't dead, just a bit of a slowdown in development. Now that we've announced C7d20, Victoriana will come after that to ensure it takes full advantage of the C7d20 system.

One of my big design goals is faster combat, which is something we nailed in Soulbound IMO. But yep, plenty of folks looking to add complexity, but I think one of our pillars will be allowing for ease of use and flexibility while keeping it compatible with 5e
It goes from days to weeks, but the distance is abstracted to "short, medium, long, very long" so it can be easily modified. For example, what's a long journey in a city?
