I'm not sure about this one, but seems like Pendragon 6e might not qualify since the Starter Set came out in 2023? The core isn't out yet though so it might (it's been a game I'm anticipating for ages, so I don't mind the nom).
Amboria has had delays due to illness, but I think it'll make 2024.
Other than that, stuff like Pendragon 6, Cohors Cthulhu, and Shadow of the Weird Wizard but those have all been nominated already.
Interesting. That makes quite a bit of sense. I've puzzled a lot about how to use Momentum/Threat in solo games and this isn't a solution I'd thought of.
There might be more of a story, but what I know is that because RuneQuest was an early popular game in Sweden and RuneQuest has ducks, ducks became a running thing in Swedish rpgs. There's even a bonus/gag duck race in Symbaroum.
I wouldn't read too much into it being a "different game." Free League is of course going to say this. But while TOR2E is definitely a new edition of the game, it's still very much useable with TOR1E. I can't imagine two versions of a 5E adaption would be less compatible than that.

Interestingly, when Free League first announced they'd picked up DoD, they were adamant that it was only for their Swedish market. I kept seeing people begging them to bring it out in English and they kept saying no, but clearly they must have heard enough requests to persuade them to try.
