Sometimes you just have to trust your customers to deal maturely with mature topics and ignore those that jump up and down and carry on about what you can and cannot have in a roleplay game setting.

How about replacing it with "Trigger Traps" Have it trigger traps within 10ft further on upcast. This allows you to deal with traps but with an element of risk (being affected by trap and alerting residents, also some traps reset).

My issue with the PDK being a mix of dragon rider and banneret aside from lore is that because there is so limited design space in a subclass that mixing both concepts into a single subclass dilutes both reducing the value of the subclass. It is far better to them as separate subclasses...

As written on the tin, the Chef feat minus the stat increase should be an origin feat. Thoughts?

If a simple class is what is required why not Mage that fires energy bolt that fires more often as you level up and gets a bit stronger. Instead of "I attack", you "I blast". That Fighter does not have to always suffer for the um....simple, lazy and new players.
