I'd do minimum 1 for any hit. (We've already got a thing for an attack that does 0 damage -- a miss) Also, miniumum 1 hit point for level (Though I don't have a solid reason why I think this should be true, file under feels right.)

One of the problems with Kindle RPG books is that most game books have heavy layout. Charts, tables, diagrams and the like. This doesn't translate well to any ereader format (except for PDF, which the Kindle is pretty terrible at). That said, I'd love to have an ereader version of the books, I...
