Been an RPGer since I was 8. Taught by my older brother with original D&D. Played all the editions, as well as RIFTS, Champions, Call of Cthulu, and scores of others. Like all of us I've endured terrible groups just to play and been fortunate enough to be with groups that made me step up my game. I don't mind a min/maxer, or a munchkin, but I appreciate the people who develop their character as much as they worry about the numbers. Clever players will always come up with a solution while number crunchers will always argue the rules.
