Demon Lord is a fantastic game. It was and is the best Kickstarter for value and content that I have backed. I enjoy the system and the ease of getting a game prepped.
I don't want to get into a flame war. I will note that the "intent" to permanently deprive is "intentionally acting" which is the culpable mental state by your own terms. Q.E.D. or some other Latin phrase that applies here. :)
As I understand it, the original DragonLance books were works-for-hire, so TSR, then their successor in interest, WOTC, have ownership over the IP. If I am wrong in that, I apologize in advance.
