getting triped during a charge or flyby attack and being so near to the ground at the same time sounds like crushlanding...and that sounds like prone to me. maybe the dragon manage it somehow to stand it depends finaly on the environment

the dragon will fall and then are prone. now everybody gets the chance to hit a prone Dragon (after a moveaction they had to make to get whithin reach) next turn the tragon have to standup thats again 4 AoOߴs agains him... seems pretty cool but still rare XD

reach should not be a problem whit an large speer. in fakt i could reach the wings of the passing dragon whit my guisarme too entangle them (atk agains Touch AC + a little cover maybe ) and then drag him down to earth (str-check [maybe using the modifiers linked to the Maneuverability...
