I don't know much about this class, but I would recommend looking at the Dragon Shaman class in the Players Handbook II. It has the middle attack progression, and you would have to take an exotic weapon prof, but it wears medium armor, and gains a lot of dragon related abilities, including auras...

The funny thing is, I chose true-strike without looking at it, assuming that it was something I could cast on party members... I certainly need to look into the changes. As for the racial change, I very well may look at that. I obviously wont be getting into hand to hand unless something goes...
