This is the solution that fits every business ever, and sadly not enough understand this simple concept. I retired last year, and I can divide every job I've ever had into two buckets - every company that listened to employee and trusted their expertise were great jobs and strong companies...

We were essentially doing that in the late 70's. We'd draw maps on large graph or hex paper, then we bought a large piece of thin plexiglass to put on top. It both held down the map (which had been rolled up, so tended to curl), and allowed us to mark things up.

Some of that work for existing Windows customers only...
