    Aeon (updated 10/9/14)

Just want to say thanks once more, Sep. Fantastic update. The only reason I still come to EN World, actually, is to check on this story hour, which I've been following for years... *Eagerly awaits the next installment*

Eadric et. al. (The Paladin and his Friends).

Sep, I notice that Demogorgan (or the Ancient) is conspicuously absent from this list. Is the Ancient synonomous with Tamasah or has its place been superceded in your world view by other entities, like the Cheshnites? I've always been keen to see the characters clash with Demogorgan, if only...

Eadric et. al. (The Paladin and his Friends).

    By my math, Cha bonus = +33, so Dmg = +33 * 1.5 (from cha) + 10 (from sword) = +59 +59 is the correct bonus.

    Prestige Class question

The BAB requirement is for base attack bonus, not attack bonus with modifiers. So, the paladin can't meet the requirements until level 5, at which point you could take the 6th level as Kensai. Hope that helps!

    MM IV Q and A

As for what I meant but "lean," I suppose I have been spoiled by the three Core books. To me, these set the standard on book size. Also, the MM2 and the Fiend Folio had more pages (or, at least, appeared to have more to me?) by a fair amount. And other books, like the Epic Level Handbook, had...

    MM IV Q and A

This may be a bit of a tease, since I don't have the book. However, I did see it yesterday at Barnes and Nobles, and so it must be out. I'm sure someone out there has it and might want to answer some questions. Here are some of my first impressions: The book was lean, but so are all WOTC books...

    Where are the High Men/Dunaden?

Aragorn did a few things in the books that can be attributed to his innate abilities as a Dunedain. For one thing he could heal not just regular ills but supernatural ills (healing hands of the king and all that, keeping in mind that the kings of Gondor were always Dunedain). For another he went...

A Few Good Fiends (MMII conversions, updated 9/16: added chain golem!)

Now I wish I were still playing just so I could unleash some linnorms... My first campaign featured them as the BBEGs in a dragon heavy campaign, and I was horrified at their treatment in the MMII. Thanks for the great conversions Demiurge.

    Real Life Stats

Well, glasses are an easy fix. I have great hearing, am very perceptive, all my friends come to me for advice, make good decisions, have good willpower, etc, hence a high wisdom, but I have something like 20/800 vision or worse. So, we just need those flaws... Very Nearsighted- You suffer a -8...

    Real Life Stats

Yeah, as genshou pointed out, the d20 Modern might be a better class system. Still, I've a feeling few people, even really talented people, are PC classes. I mean, after all, most of us don't have any of those nifty class features like sneak attack, spellcasting, or anything like that. I think...

    Real Life Stats

So Rangerwickett brings up the next question beyond the six stats... what about levels? Now with the way the starting age is set up, it would seem that simply being 1st level requires training through the end of adolescence. So, I'd think that an average level 1 person is pretty much fresh out...
