Oh I’m not saying everyone is doing better stuff than WOTC, it’s just that with their budget they should be the gold standard. And I don’t think they are.
As stated above other companies have books with ribbons, better layouts, props that come with the books, cloth maps, better more logical...
I agree that it feels like other companies are doing better at books. However I’m a big fan of WOTC’s work on the Borderlands and Stranger Things box sets’s.
I wonder if they lack of effort on the books is because they want people using beyond instead?
Personally I’d like to see more boxset...
It's anecdotal... but I know a lot of people that play 5e. I know 1 person with a DND Beyond account. That person isn't me. I currently play in 2-3 games a week and I don't have an account. I don't think much of the player base has a Beyond account.
Edit: even ignoring all the adults I know...
Google search indicates purple and pink and smiles has something to do with homemade makeup…I don’t get the reference either.
But it turned up this awesome gem of a video
I hate to sound resigned but companies making short term legally questionable decisions to boost ceo bonuses and possibly inflate shareholder value is just standard business practice in this late stage capitalism hellscape.
It doesn’t make it ok and we should be outraged but I think we are all...
I’ve been running the stranger things box set for my son and his friends and they love it. I’m just running it as is because I don’t want to sink a lot of time into it.
But they love the stranger things feel of the adventures. We have done the first 2 and both went over very well.
I guess it...
I don’t think crows is Colville’s project. It sounds like he told the designer he could do it or else he figured the designer would walk and create it on his own.
I think, if it’s done right, the dungeon crawler Carl ttrpg will be a dungeon crawler that is totally different from the norm...
I haven't found a Sanderson novel I haven't bounced off of hard. So I'm hoping the shows let me experience his work in a way I find palatable. I have high hopes.
I know you probably want a succent answer to this, but I'm not that guy (I don't know the answer). I am however the guy that will drop a link to the draw steel srd equivalent.
Rules Index - Steel Compendium: Draw Steel Rules
That's a wild take... there seem to be a lot of clear differences.
I mean you get class "powers" in shadow dark, and you don't lose items/abilities when you are damaged, the list goes on and on
