Make Whole Ritual and Magic Items

Simply, does the Make Whole ritual repair magic items? If so, can you use it to repair items of a higher level than you are?

    Healer's Lore and Melora's Tide

Healer’s Lore ... When you grant healing with one of your cleric powers that has the healing key- word, add your Wisdom modifier to the hit points the recipient regains. Melora's Tide (paraphrased) You or bloodied ally gets regeneration 2 until end of encounter or until no longer bloodied...

Roper: CR 12 with SR 30?

Ah, I see. I was unaware of the Roper's prior magical resistance, but I understand where the SR 30 comes from now. The roper in this adventure will play a similar role to the one in the aforementioned adventure. Although the target party level in this adventure is 8 instead of 4, it is still...

Roper: CR 12 with SR 30?

I have actually encountered that very one before (and nearly lost my dwarven barbarian to it - actually managed to break free). It is really a nasty creaure because it often gets the jump on the party.

Roper: CR 12 with SR 30?

I am building an adventure, and noticed that a 10 HD Roper has SR 30. As it is only a CR 12 creature, I was wondering if this might be a little steep, and was considering adjusting it downward to 25. Your insight (or errata) is appreciated. Thanks heliopolix

Creatures who succesfully save immune for 24 hours...

I was almost certain that the wording did require those who failed their save to try again the next round, and in the case of the troglodyte it wouldnt much matter; sickened is sickened. The Horrific Appearance is a little more deadly, as characters with low fortitudes, like rogues and wizards...

Creatures who succesfully save immune for 24 hours...

I have happened across several special abilities that have the caveat "A creature that successfully saves versus this affect cannot be affected by the same monster's affect for 24 hours". Take a look at a ghost's Horrific Appearance or a Troglodyte's stench ability to see what I mean...

    Precision Based Damage

This has been bothering me for a little while. Im not sure exactly what the problem is, or even if ther is one, but here goes. There are several types of Precision Based Damage (PBD). A short list (IMHO) is: Rogue's Sneak Attack, Ranger's Favored Enemy, Point Blank Shot, and the Swashbucker's...

    Carrying cargo using wildshape

Yes. But only when wildshaping to a Dire Goose. While using the druid's wildshape to carry stuff is [ab]using the rules a little bit, there's really nothing to dissallow a character from doing just what your druid is wanting to, although some supporting roleplaying will probably help make it go...

    50 hobgoblins xp question?

Also, by the CR to EL table in the DMG, there is a paragraph explaining that the chart only goes up to 10-12 (CR x) = (EL y) because any encounter composed of 13+ of the same low-CR creature are probably going to be handled very easily by the party, at almost no risk to themselves, and as we all...

    Power Attack: Worthless for Monks?

Aha! Thx man. Teach me to post w/o my books with me.

    Who's in Charge?

One nitpick: A monk's unarmed strike is a Light Weapon. Power attack does jack squat for light weapons.

    Power Attack: Worthless for Monks?

I've noticed the conflict in the fact that Power attack is pretty worthless for the monk at higher levels, when his unarmed damage outperforms his monk special weapon damage. Being that a monks unarmed attack is a light weapon, and power attack doesnt do anything for light weapons, why should...
