    D&D (2024) Wizard (Playtest 7)

I think they may include Necromancers in the DMG

    D&D (2024) Wizard (Playtest 7)

My understanding of the reason why is that too many young players are complaining that they still want their 5e the same. Never saw a game before Bards being a common class. The more they are introduced to all classes, the more the "5e only" community complains.

Ah, I see. Thank you for pointing that out

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

Socerors can also cast rituals. It takes 10 mins, and rest of the party wants to move on. Ok, but they cannot have all those spells at once. They are limited to the number of spells they memorize. Right? Or are you one that doesn't play wizards right - oh if you have it in your book. DM does...

    D&D (2024) Wizard (Playtest 7)

Is it me, or is the Wizard now the only one who can cast spells as a ritual? I don't see it in the Soceror or Warlock classes now. Sorcerors were able to in 2014. I think this is a great change, however!! A wizard with years of practice is the only class that can take time to cast a ritual...

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

That's a real 5e only perceptive - the wizard is classic to so many of the older B/1/2 e players. The new ones are like, "Hey you Bards and Warlocks, get off my magic lawn!" - lol :Grampa wavies fist:

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

Yes - like the Warlock and Artificer. These classes both seem unnecessary in every D&D game. I find ~6 players for these classes (and 90 Artificers) even in FR to one Wizard.

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

Just tell me how, with which spells and abilities, does a Wizard beat a Soceror, or any class, that has access to meta magic and less costly spells? Socerors also get one additional cantrip, which the Wizard does not. The Soceror gets the same spell slots that a Wizard gets. And the Soceror get...

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

First, you commented that Wizards require thinking "chess". Are you saying other classes do not require the players to think - they just sit down and roll dice because they don't have to play the "chess". Places a greater burden on Wizards and magic use, which is why I cannot find players that...

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

Unlike every other class, which is just playing to roll dice? And yes, do to the cost of spell components being higher then any other class, yet Socerors get access to better and free spells, yes they should!

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

"ever played".... .... ... Want to commit to running a game? Honestly, no. Only played as GM because no one else will. But what I have seen is a Soceror outclasss every other spellcaster. Wizards do not and have NEVER gotten an extra spell slot. Where are you getting that information from? They...

    D&D 5E Wizards Do Suck;)

Wow - they made the Wizard suck again. The Soceror gets one additional cantrip, the same number of spell slots, and meta magic. The wizard gets... to memorize spells? Like anyone I've ever, every played with holds wizards and sorcerers to the number of spells they memorize. It's always a...

Level Up (A5E) How does 5.5e/6e impact Level Up?

It's going to be 6e. A brand new game do the "woke" community complaining too much online about D&D. So the rules need to change to reflect the compliance - "We heard you and changing things". They said 5e was backward compatible, and there are about 6 pages to make it so in bring those...
