2005 for me was much better than the last few without question... but the past two (2003-2004) have been rather rough so this was a welcomed change of pace.
1) After a rough start to the year at work... I've never felt better about my career and my ability to succeed at it. I've been given more...
Yeah most of us do that... some people tend to leave a few minutes after the session but in their defense they have the longest drives home... we usually do take some time to talk about what happen and plan for the logistics of the next session.
And now that 24 hrs have past, I do feel a 'lil...
yeah... after reading the first two responses... I was like, "great... this is *not* what I needed"... but jokes are cool too - pile it on... I have broad shoulders :)
I should have entitled the thread - what do YOU do after a bad session? I guess I am more curious to hear specifically what...
I'm sure this subject has been around... but I guess I'm curious what others do plus maybe venting will help a little. Earlier today, we had a not-so-good gaming session. Probably the worst session, I've personally DMed in 3 years or so. And now I'm left with the "yuck" feeling.
I know that no...
Yeah, I have to agree with the first two responses... I think you can create anything...
Back when I ran a Spycraft 1.0 game, I enlisted the group's thoughts and we decided that pretty much anything was fair game. I was worried that if I used any real person or place my *version* could be very...
I've always been cursed with Gamer-ADD :)
I very rarely finish what i begin. I think I average about 1-2 games a year that I actually finish. Most of those end up being RPGs that I'm able to stick with it... Right this second, I'm playing Radiata Stories and X-Men Legends 2 but then I look at...
the funny thing about this poll is a co-worker and I were discussing how zombies make just nearly everything better... so i voted for that along with pirates, ninjas, and monkeys of course :)
and just try the zombie thing... name a movie... imagine if zombies were in it... and suddenly *poof*...
just wanted to say THANK YOU...
our group recently has begun using music on a more consistent basis... I will add some of these to our growing soundtrack.
well if i could play devil's advocate for second...
does having a thread on what you'll be giving up if selected an Ennies judge sound like good campaign advice???
When you decided to become a candidate I would have guessed you understood the responsibility involved. I could see how this could...
Well this is the 2nd time in this thread that you've posted after me challenging my view Crothian... its ok... its all good... a paranoid person might think you're after me... then I realized with your 37k posts there must be 3645 other posters like me with 10-20 posts where you have posted...
A few random things:
1) On some level I find the ongoing disagreement between Telfon Billy and Umbran about voting patterns and policies funny since I voted for both for very different reasons. I now feel even better about my votes now. Honestly. Disagreement can be healthy.
2) Earlier I...
My group has talked about building a gaming table for some time now... sharing the link with a few of them right now. Just wanted to chime in on how cool that is. Good Job!
We may need to have a group field trip to Home Depot in the near future :)
