I've just started on my HH reading journey. I've cobbled together this list from various forum posts and YT videos on both reading order and "must-read" novels in the series. Going by the GoodReads ratings, I seem to cover the good-stuff. Any further recommendations?

Quite right... I should probably have picked an example book that wasn't actually in the Companion :-D The point I was trying to make is: A book that covers (pun!) Mythos tomes like the MoN Companion does would we awesome!

I ran the new edition a few years ago for a group of experienced players supplemented with the Deluxe Prop Set (highly recommended) and some stuff from the Companion. It took us close to 2 years to get through it, fortnightly for the first year and weekly for the second, missing the odd session...
