I've been playing DnD for about 17 years now. I started on the Basic pink box, moved up to 2nd ed eventually, and so on. I DM'd a group for 3 1/2 years, every Friday, in a world of my own creation in which all of the gods were evil, save the god of death. Throughout the course of this campaign, one of the PC's adopted a baby that fell (literally) from the sky, another sacrificed himself to resurrect the long-dead god of suffering (martyrdom, more exactly), and another had a quaint and caring adopted grandmother. Now my group has moved to all corners of the world and I am interested in trying out more of this often-hated 4th edition!
