I agree with you as well. Though what's to stop a player from, stacking on a ton of armor enchantments since those tend to just be base. For example a +5 Spell Resistance (19) Righteous Unbound Vigilant Determination Greater Shadow Fullplate.

For purposes of concluding an argument, I'd like to ask for the help of the community. Does an adaptive enchantment take up a +1 maximum enchantment bonus on a weapon for purposes of a maximum of 10, as well as for increasing the cost of future enchantments. Thank you for your time. Edit...
